PI film heat vulcanizing agent, specifically for bonding silicone rubber and metal PI.
409 is primarily used for the integral bonding of solid silicone rubber platinum systems or peroxydimethylamine systems with rigid substrates such as PI, metals (stainless steel/iron), nylon, and glass fiber. Typical applications include: roller coating, metal eyeglass frames, silicone baby products, silicone 3C electronic products (e.g., electric heating products), adult products, and silicone kitchenware.
Application Method:
1. Surface Treatment: Degrease the plastic surface by mechanical sandblasting or sanding, or chemically clean the substrate surface with anhydrous solvents.
2. Apply the adhesive to the substrate surface by brushing or dipping, and activate it.
3. Drying: After application, allow it to stand for about 5 minutes until surface dry, or bake in a 90-100℃ oven for 1 minute.
4. Storage: Bonding should be done as soon as possible after application, ideally on the same day. Avoid contamination and exposure to high temperature and humidity.
5. Vulcanization: Platinum system, 120~170℃; Peroxydiphenyl ether system, vulcanization temperature of 170℃ is preferred.
